Bailey, 84, a lifelong resident of Ronald township, will be Saturday at 2 pm at the Shiloh Community church. Rev. Kenneth Harger will officiate and interment will be at Woodard Lake Cemetery. Mr. Bailey died Wednesday morning at the Ionia Memorial Hospital. Born in Ronald township October 23, 1891, he was the son of John and Loretta Wilson Bailey and attended the rural school in the area. He served with the army demolitions detachment in France during World War I. Following his discharge in March of 1919, he returned to the family farm and was married to Myrtie Beach of Palo August 12, 1919. They made their home on the farm on Jones road since and celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary in 1969. He was a member of the Shiloh Community church. His only survivor is his wife Myrtie. The body will be at the Leddick funeral home until 1 pm Saturday when it will be taken to the Shiloh church for services.
