The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 12, 1963


Funeral service for Charles T. Bailey, 60, of 205 Ionia street, Muir, who died 
early Friday morning, was held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon.  The Rev. Harold 
A. Jayne, pastor of Ionia First Methodist church, officiated and burial was at 
Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were Earl Graham, Oscar Johnson, Roman Slowinski, Wayne Cline, Donald 
Pierce and James Powers.  Employees of Ionia State Hospital attended in a group.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. A. Clyde Bailey of Milford, Mr. 
and Mrs. John A. Crawford of Elk Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Redman of Leslie, 
James Hodges and Joseph Keating of Lansing, Harold J. McKnight of Coldwater, 
Mrs. Frank Worden and Paul Worden of Fenwick, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clark, Mrs. 
James Stuart, Roger Cochrun and Mrs. Elmer Larson of Saranac, Mr. and Mrs. 
William Hoople, Jr., of Palo, and Thomas Walker of Kalamazoo.
