Joe Bailey, 71, of Lake Forest, Calif., passed away June 12, 2012 from cancer.

He was born March 21, 1941 in Ionia County to Adam and Dora (Sparks).

Joe graduated from Saranac High School in 1959, served time in the U.S. Navy, 
then worked many years for the State of California.

Joe leaves behind his beloved children, Cheryl Bailey of Issaquah, Wash., Robin 
Jenson of Newport Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Matson (Josephine) of Belding 
and Ray (Julie) of Mason; five sisters, Imogene (Leon) Sutfin of Harrison, 
Vonda (Ron) Morea of Flint, Lottie (Dennis) Morrell of Gladwin, Linda Makienda 
of Springfield, Mo., and Brenda Bailey of Lima, Ohio; two aunts, Fannie (Loren) 
Blocker of Lowell and Kizzie Lawrence of Ada, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, 
cousins and friends from Saranac and Lowell.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents. 

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
