Greenville Daily News, Tues, Oct. 1, 1957
Charlotte M. Bailey, 52, 902 Cedar St., died this morning at United memorial 
Hospital after a five day illness.

Born in Isabella county, April 12, 1905, she had lived in Greenville for the 
past nine years. Her parents were Wesley and Annie Courter.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the International Association of Book Binders, 
Lansing Local No. 64.

On April 12, 1935, she was married to Joseph Bailey, who survives.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Hattie) Eckter, Greenville; two 
step-daughters, Mrs. Charles Dann, Mancelona, and Miss Frances Bailey, 
Lapeer; one step-son, Frank Bailey, St. Johns; a sister, Mrs. Mary Worden, 
Lansing; one half-sister, Mrs. Phema Swanson, Wyndemere, N.D. and one 
brothers, Wesley Courter, Holt. There are four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral Home. 
The Rev. Clarence Bruch, East Lansing will officiate and burial will be in 
Palo cemetery.
