Bailey, Ex Banner Printer, Dies in Belding Charles G. Bailey passed away at the Belding Community Hospital September 20. He had been there since September 3. Born in Portland December 11, 1866, he had been a resident of Belding for 50 years. Mr. Bailey was married to Nellie Murray in Carson City, October 9, 1894. She preceded him in death on April 21, 1957. He was a printer by trade being employed by the Banner-News for 15 years, and the Greenville Daily News and the Belding Printing Company each for four years. He retired 1952 at the age of 86. He was a member of the Congregational church at Carson City. Surviving are five sons, Clarence of Wadsworth, Ohio, Donald of Sault St. Marie, Fred of Greenville, Bert of California, and Edward, address unknown; one daughter, Dana, Mrs. Ray Vachon, of Akron, Ohio, a half-brother Roy E. Clark of Detroit, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
