Gordon Henry Bailey, 74, of Ionia, passed away September 1, 2003 at his home.  
He was born January 25, 1929 in Ionia the son of Bert and Ruth (Perrien) 
Bailey,  He married Beverly Bippley April 22, 1972 in Lansing.  He was an Air 
Force veteran of Korean War.  A member of Ionia Moose,  Past member of KFC, 
Lion Club and Eagles.

He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Bailey of Ionia; sons Steven R. 
(Lynn) Bailey of Ionia, William Bailey of Eaton Rapids; daughters Cheryl (Kim) 
Foster of Lowell, Carol Sue (Gordon) Francisco of Ionia; stepsons John (Julie) 
Piselli of Ionia, Jim (Diane) Piselli of Ionia, Joe Piselli of Holt; brothers 
Donald (Doris) Bailey of Grand Rapids, Robert (Joanne) Bailey of Ionia; sister 
Helen Wilson of Stanton; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Visitation Friday 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 
at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ionia Area 
Hospice.
