Ionia Sentinel Standard-Friday May 7, 1926

Mrs. Loretta Bailey, for many years a resident of Ronald township, passed away 
at her home Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mrs. Bailey had suffered with 
rheumatism for a number of years and had been critically ill for some time.

Mrs. Bailey who was 63 years of age, had been a resident of Ronald township for 
the past 40 years, the Bailey family home is located northeast of Woodard Lake.

Besides her husband, John Bailey, she is survived by three children, Mrs. 
Josephine Knowles of Ionia; Charmers Bailey, at home and Otis Bailey also of 
Ronald township.

The funeral service will be held from the resident Saturday afternoon at 2 
o'clock, sun time. Rev. Rood of Palo, will officiate. Burial will take place in 
the Woodard Lake Cemetery.
