                             Death Followed Stroke

Funeral services were held from the Fitzjohn Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 
2:30 for Loren Bailey, 71, who died Thursday morning at his home at 722 May 
Street.

Mr.Bailey suffered a stroke a week ago. He was born in Hilldale County and two-
years ago moved to this city from Cook's Corners where he had resided for 
several years.

The survivors are his widow, Mrs.Elizabeth Becker Bailey and four children; Mark 
H. of Gand Rapids, Mrs.Ernest Phinney of Carson City, Ernest and Vern of this 
city.
