                        ROBERT HAROLD BAILEY

Robert Harold Bailey, 83, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 
Metro Hospital in Grand Rapids with hi family members at his side.

He was born April 19, 1927, in Ionia, the son of Bert and Ruth (Perrien) Bailey. 
He married Joane (Bailey) Bailey on June 18, 1952, in Ne York City,N.Y. on the 
"bride and Groom" TV show.

Bob graduated from Sheridan High School, class of 1947 and met with his 
classmates yearly.He worked many years for Caswell Oil Company in Ionia as a 
truck driver. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ionia for many 
years and later the Shiloh Community Church. His enjoyment in life was spending 
time with  his family and working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Edward, Donald and Gordon 
Bailey.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joane of Ionia; son Keith (Carla) Bailey 
of Ionia, daughters Kathy (Pat) Ringler of Madison, Wisconsin and Lisa (Dennis) 
Fountain of Ionia; six grandchildren, Angela (James) Vander Hulst of Grand 
Rapids; Christine Ringler of Tempe,Arizona, Laura Ringler of 
Milwaukee,Wisconsin; Jessica, Alex and Daniel Fountain of Ionia; two great-
grandchildren, Ava and Ayden Vaneder Hulst of Grand Rapids; sister Helen Wilson 
of Grand Rapids; and uncle Wallace Perrien of Troutman, N.C.,Formerly of Ionia.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday June 3, 2010,a t Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia with Pastor Kendal Harger officiating.there will be a a luncheon at 
Shiloh Community Church following the service.Visitation will be Wednesday, June 
2, 2010, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Community Church in the name of
