Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 20 Feb 1945

Final rites for Matson Bailey, 21-year-old Lansing war plant worker, who was
fatally injured in an automobile accident Saturday afternoon, will be held
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Morris funeral home, Saranac, with
burial in Balcom cemetery.

Arrangements had previously been announced with services to be held at the home
of his sister, Mrs. Merl Fisher, Route 1, Saranac, but plans were changed upon
the arrival Monday of the boy’s father, Eastman Bailey, of Carver, Ky.
