LAKE ODESSA - David L. Bain, 53, of Joliet, Ill., formerly of Lake Odessa, died 
on Sunday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago.

He was born March 7, 1939, in Benton, Illinois and has been a resident of 
Joliet, Ill., since 1977.

He was a member o the Grace United Methodist Church, Joliet. He was employed as 
a management consultant with Morris, Anderson and Associates of Rosemont, Ill. 
He was also an author of a book and several articles in his field. 

He is survived by his wife Sandy: three sons; Craig of Switzerland, Eric of 
Joliet, and Kevin of Los Angeles; his father Ford L. Bain of Benton; his 
brother Jim of Fairfax, Virginia;; his sister Barbara Cooper of Columbia, Md.; 
and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, with the Rev. James M. Wilson 
officiating. 

Burial will be in lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.

Memorials have been established for the Grace United Methodist Church and the 
Morning Star Mission, in care of the Fred C. Dames West Chapel, 3200 W. Black 
Road, Joliet, Ill.
