Ionia County News, 23 May 1929

Ionia Children Taken by Death Thursday Morn

Two children in Ionia county were called by death Thursday.  Wilbur Leo, aged 
11, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Baker, dying at the home at Dildine corners and 
Baby Kenneth, aged 15 months, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Swain, Prairie Creek, 
also dying at the home Thursday morning.

Wilbur has been ill with measles which developed into pneumonia.  He is 
survived by his parents and two other children, a sister in the eighth grade 
and a baby.  Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W.F. Kendrick from the 
home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and from the Dildine church at 3 p.m.  Burial will be 
in Easton cemetery.
