Ionia Sentinel, Fri., June 16, 1876
Rosa, daugher of Johnson Baker, aged seventeen died of consumption on Tuesday 
morning at five o'clock.  The following day in the afternoon a large concourse 
of sorrowing friends assembled at the M.E. church and listened to a very 
excellent sermon by the pastor, after which they laid their dear friend and 
classmate quietly at rest in the cemetery.
