Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. Dec. 28, 1990


SARANAC - Vida Baker, 75, of 41 Placid Pines Drive, Lake Placid, Fla., and 
Saranac, died in Lake Placid Dec. 27.

Born in Easton Township Aug. 11, 1915, she was the daughter of George and 
Martha Rolfeson Taylor.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Ionia.

Surviving are her husband, Elmo; three sons, Donald K. Baker and Larry E. 
Baker, both of Pennsylvania, and Gerald L. Baker of Clio; eight grandchildren 
and two sisters, hazel Kohn of Belding and Ola Scott of Saranac. 

One son preceded her in death.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial services will be held Jan. 2 at 2:30 p.m. at Ionia Seventh Day 
Adventist Church.

A memorial for the church has been established, in care of Lake Funeral Home, 
which made arrangements.
