CLYDE BAKER, 19 LEAVES DAUGHTER BUT FEW DAYS OLD; STREPTOCOCCUS BLAMED Mrs. Clyde Baker, a 19-year-old mother, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Minier, Friday morning at 1:45, of an illness of throat infection that developed several days after the birth of her daughter, Helen Lucile, on April 21 and which persisted in spite of all medical science in Western Michigan could do for her. Mrs. Baker was Miss Marion Minier before her marriage to Mr. Baker last summer. She was born in Ronald February 8, 1910, and has always lived in this vicinity. She was popular not only with those of her age, but with the members of the entire community who have been saddened by her death. Besides her husband, infant daughter and her parents, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Murl Badder, and Bernice, who lives at home; four brothers, Burt of Kalamazoo and Maurice, Robert and Harold at home and her aged grandparents. The funeral services will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Minier Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, and at the LeValley Methodist Episcopal church at 2 o'clock, Eastern Standard time. The interment will be in Palo cemetery.
