Mr. Baker was one of a family of 12 children, seven of whom are still living. The wealth of flowers that surrounded the casket were in charge of Mrs. Vernon Simmons, Mrs. Edmund Chapin, and John Schlosser. Music was furnished by Mrs. Robert Weisgerber. The Bearers were M. Clyde Stout, Albert Hinds, Norman Taylor, and Myron Badder. Interment was in Tuttle cemetery. Those from out of town attending were Mrs. Laura Mix, Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Baker and son of Marion; Jacob Klaumbaush, Mrs. Loraine Gaiken, and Edith VanZant, of Marshal; Mr. and Mrs. George Baker, Lake Odessa; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hough, Mr. and Mrs. Clare McWherter, Sunfield; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Donn, Frank Halsey, Lansing; Mrs. Nora Samaine, Mason; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Townsend, of Durand.
