The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 1, 1920


Word has been received here of the death of George L. Baker, of Jackson, 
formerly a resident of Ionia, living here for 50 years.  He died on February 
24, after an illness of about one year.  Mr. Baker was born April 27, 1848.  He 
was very well known here, and greatly esteemed.  He leaves a widow, Mary Baker 
of Jackson and two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Seward of Jackson and Mrs. R. T. Wood of 
Ionia, and two grandchildren.
