Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Aug. 16, 1928

The body of Maurice Baker, who died in Detroit the first lf the week, arrived 
in Ionia Tuesday evening and the funeral services will be held Wednesday 
afternoon from the home of his aunt, Mrs. John Rivett, his only near relative 
in this part of the United States. Rev. Edwin G. White officiated at the 
services and the burial took place in the Highland Park cemetery. Those who 
acted as bearers were Maurice R. Rivett, Thomas Marshall, Charles Boughey, 
Robert Rivett and John Miller.
