FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR GILBERT BAKER
Funeral services for Gilbert Baker, 59, were held Saturday afternoon at Portland
Baptist Church, the Rev. J. Dexter B. Adams and Leo J. Tomka officiating.

Surviving are the wife, Alice; two sons, John and Peter of Portland, two daughters,
Mrs. Elizabeth Artin of Portland; and Mrs. Alice Vis of Rockford; 17 grandchildren and
three brothers in the Netherlands.

Bearers were Kenneth Jameson, Oliver Bashore, Vern DuBois, George Hudson, Richard 
Merrifield and James Engel. 

Burial was in Portland cemetery. Mr. Baker died at a
Lansing hospital Oct. 12.
