May 31, 1966 WILLIAM NEUMAN BAKER A resident of Bushnell township five and one half years, William Neuman Baker, 61, of route one, Sheridan drowned Monday afternoon. He was married in 1943 to Gladys Starmer. Surviving are his wife, Gladys; son William H. Baker of Sheridan; step-son Eugene Williams of Winston-Salem, N.C., step-daughter, Mary Weaver of Sheridan; four brothers, Harry of Washington D.C., Warren of Oklahoma, Claude of Flint, Sims of Charlevoix; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Hathaway of Alanson, Mrs. Grace Mummert of East Jordan, Mrs. Eleanor Coblentz and Mrs. Juanita Erber of Boyne City, and five grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan with burial in Sheridan cemetery. Rev.
