Ionia Shopper's Guide  - March 14, 2020
   BAKER Marguerite H. Baker age 98 of Ionia passed away March 7, 2020 in Ionia. She
was born September 9, 1921 in Portland, MI the daughter of Francis J. and Flossie J. 
(Somerville) Burger. Marguerite married William C. Baker April 18, 1942.  He passed 
away June 17, 2001.
  She was a member of the Literary Guild and Ionia Hospital Auxiliary.  She lived in
Detroit Area before moving to Ionia.
   Marguerite is survived by her sons, Steven Baker of Fenton and Jeff (Kay) Baker
of Ionia; Grandchildren Bret (Paula) Baker of Holt and great grandchildren, Jack 
Baker, Jessica Baker and Luke Baker.
   She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
   Funeral service were held 11:00 am. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Lake Funeral
Home in Ionia with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating.  Interment in Tuttle Cemetery. 
Visitation was Tuesday 5-7 pm and one hour prior to service on Wednesday at the 
funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Kindred Hospice or 
Ionia County Animal Shelter.  Online condolences may be made at
