Robert William Baker, age 64 of Ionia, passed away Jan. 12, 2015.  He was born
Feb. 17, 1950, in Ionia the son of Walter and Alice (Meeker)  Baker.  Robert
worked as a Corrections Officer before retiring in 2007.  He was an avid
softball player and loved to hunt.

Robert is survived by his children, Jamie Brenner (Chad McClintock) of Ionia,
Kasey Baker of Lansing, and Jeb Baker of Saranac; grandchildren, Holden Brenner,
Jade McClintock, and Riley McClintock; mother of his children, Jeanne Baker of
Saranac; brothers, Dennis Baker of Tennessee, Jack Baker of Ionia, and Richard
(Amy) Baker of Six Lakes; nieces & nephews, Holly (Don) Stacey, Jason Baker,
Scott Baker, Ryan Baker, and Ryan (Heidie) Fox and several great-nieces and
nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom Baker.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, Jan. 16, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in
Ionia with pastor John Prominski officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior
to service.
