Ionia, July 17—Judge Myron Balcom, who came to Ionia in 1849, is dead.  He 
died one half hour after the dawn of his eight-third birthday anniversary.  He 
was a man of pronounced integrity and in 1884 was elected Probate Judge of 
Ionia county, serving four years.
