Portland Observer – Wednesday 17 October 1894
Lillie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benj. Balderson, died at her home in this 
township of consumption, on Tuesday last, aged 23 years.  The funeral was 
conducted from her late home on Thursday afternoon last, and burial made in 
Portland cemetery.  The young lady had been an invalid for some time.  Rev. 
Bower of the Baptist church conducted the services.
