BALDIE, MRS. SARAH:

   Per THE IONIA (MI) SENTINEL, Friday, October 4, 1878, front page:  "Mrs.
Sarah A. Baldie, wife of David Baldie, died Tuesday, aged 70 years.  Mr. and
Mrs. Baldie are among the earliest settlers of the place, having been residents
for about 34 years.  Mrs. Baldie was highly esteemed by a large circle for her
excellent traits of character.  The funeral took place from the residence
yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. Pierson officiating."
