William Balduf Passes Away
William Balduf, 74, passed away early Wednesday morning a the McDowell Nursing 
Home where he had been a patient about a years.

A native of Lansing he married Crystal Huntington of Lansing, January 18, 1919 
and she passed away February 7, 1963.

They resided at Dimondale before moving here in March 1930 and lived on their 
farm on M-66 until moving to the village in 1963.

Mr. Balduf, a retired farmer was a member of the Methodist church, Adult 
Fellowship served as president and director of the Lake Odessa Fair Association 
for many years and at Ionia County drain commissioner in the 1950's. He was also 
an active member of the Go-Fers farm Bureau.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs.Clarence (Marian) Miller of Sunfield, Mrs.Jack 
(June) McManus of Eaton Rapids, Mrs.Beatrice Van of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs 
Willard (Margaret) Brodbeck of Lake Odessa and Mrs.Floyd (Helen) Hewitt of 
Clarksville and 16 grandchildren.

Mr Balduf reposes at he Pickens Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be 
held Saturday at 1:30 with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
