Robert L. Baldwin, of Ionia, age 64, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008.  He
was born on Sept. 1, 1944 in Belding the son of Edwin and Corabell (Harden)
Baldwin.  He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam
War, was a proud member of A.A. making many new friends and worked at the Brown
Corporation for 30 plus years.  Robert enjoyed watching Nascar, especially #24
Jeff Gordon.  He adored his grandchildren and loved his cat “Sponge Bob.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Simmons and Carol
Santos; brother, Earl Baldwin and granddaughter Chelsey Baldwin.  Surviving are
his children Ralinda (Steve Bouck) Hilliker of Greenville, Troy (Mandy) Baldwin
of Ionia, Renee Baldwin of Ionia, Bobbie (Chad) Daugherty of Ionia and Amber
Baldwin of Lansing; grandchildren, Anthony Kruszkowski and Alexandra Hilliker,
“Little “Troy” Baldwin, Tyler Baldwin and Jordan Baldwin, stepgrandchildren
James, Brittany and Emily Anthony and Olivia “Rug Rat” Hogan, grandchildren
Jaylynn Williams, Adreana and Alexias Daughtery, Jaztin Baldwin and a baby boy
on the way; siblings Vera (Jerald) Parker of Lowell and Wayne (Bert) Baldwin of
Fenwick; many nieces and nephew and his A.A. family.

A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Kenneth Herger at 11 a.m.,
Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St.
Ionia.  The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the
funeral home.
