H. Baldwin, 76, long time resident of Belding, died suddenly at her home on North Ropt street, Tuesday morning at 10:00 O'clock after having been confined to a wheel chair for two years. County Coroner Bruce Fales stated that no inquest would be held. Miss Anna McConnell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McConnell, was born in Brighton, Canada, September 22, 1863, and came to Michigan with her parents when two years old. She was married to F. H. Baldwin in Stanton, December 16, 1881 and lived in that vicinity until December 15, 1905 when the couple came to Belding where they have since resided. She was a member of the Lady Maccabees in Belding, and for years was active in ministering to her neighbors in the capacity of nurse. Funeral services will be held at the Fitzjohn funeral home, Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. and burial will be in River Ridge cemetery. Survivors are the husband, two sisters, Mrs. Allie Hale of Flint and Mrs. Ed. Covert of Lansing and one brother, John McConnell of Stanton.
