The Portland Observer, Wednesday, February 27, 1889
Clarence, son of Rush P. Baldwin, died last Wednesday morning, aged 17 years.  
He had been in poor health for some time.  The funeral was held at the house 
Friday morning, Rev. Halenbeck officiating.  The eighth grade, high school, of 
which he was a member, attended in a body.
