Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Feb 1992

Steven Michael Ball Jr.., 2 ½, of Ionia died on Tuesday at the Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.  He was born on June 11, 1989, in Grand Rapids.  He attended 
the Share program at Freedom Acres, Ionia.

He is survived by his parents Steven M. Sr. and Tamara Ball of Ionia; his 
sister Ashly of Ionia; his grandparents; John and Vicki Ball of Ludington, and 
Leon and Shirley Brandt of Saranac; his great grandparents; Mary Ball of 
Pentwater, Frank and Margaret Mockus of Ludington, Beulah Brandt of Ionia, and 
Wilda Graham of Rockford; four aunts; and one uncle.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday from the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church, Ionia, with the Rev. Charles Hall as celebrant.  Organist will be 
Renate Conrade.  Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.  The family will be at Cook 
Funeral Home, Ionia, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.  The prayer vigil will be 8 
p.m. Friday at Rich Street Chapel.  A memorial has been established for Freedom 
Acres, in care of the funeral home.
