Maude Jean Balmes, age 85, passed away Nov. 19, 2014, in Chicago.

Maude leaves behind a daughter, Cecelia Alexiades of Chicago; two 
grandchildren, Sophia and George; and three great-grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by her son, Larry Burns; and her husband, Bernie Balmes.

Surviving close relatives are Bill Ellison of Lowell, Robert and Judy Ellison 
of Lowell, Napoleon and Judy Ellison of Ionia, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the late spring, graveside, in Balcom 
Cemetery, pending notice.
