Funeral services will be held from the residence of her brother, Arthur Bandfield, where she died. Services will be Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Miss Bandfield was widely known here and exceedingly popular. Her extensive acquaintance was extended greatly during her service as librarian here, an office she creditably filled for a number of years. She retired from that position after the death of her mother in order that she might assume the duties of housekeeper for her father, a duty she ably fulfilled up to the time of his death. Miss Bandfield was born in Portland October 21, 1876, and had made her home here continuously since that time. Following the death of her father, Miss Bandfield for the second time made a trip to England, the land of her parents’ birth, and upon her return to Portland last November she took up her residence at the home of her brother. She is survived by another brother, Harold, and a sister, Mrs. Edith May both of Port Washington, N.Y.
