Year of Illness Ends In Death of Mrs. E. Bandfield.

More than a year of illness was brought to an end Saturday morning by the death 
of Mrs. Ella Bandfield, Portland, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Charles Miles.  Mrs. Bandfield was preceded in death by her husband, James who 
died 17 years ago.

She was born in Watertown, N. Y. in 1856, coming to Ionia with her parents in 
1860.  She was Miss Ella Benedict at the time she was married to Mr. Bandfield 
in 1878.  She is survived only by her daughter and a son, George.
