Peter & Paul was filled this morning at 9 with mourning friends who had come to pay their last respects to the memory of Julia Banhagel, a dear friend in a wide circle of acquaintances. The death was a peculiarly sad one, for that it cuts short a life which was ripening into a successful and happy career. In disposition, she was lovable, and in her business of milliner at Greenville, though not long pursued, she was demonstrating real womanly qualities. Her death will be deeply mourned, and the tenderest sympathy of many friends will go out to the grief-stricken parents. The services at the church were beautiful in their solemnity. Rev. Fr. Fierle’s testimonial for the good girl was heartfelt and true. She was the pride of fond parents, and outside the home was equally well beloved. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. The bearers were six young gentlemen friends: Frank Carten, Theodore Kreuger, Theodore Bauman, Bernie Humphrey, Ed Abfalter, John Bickey.
