MRS. TRESSIA BANHAGEL
Mrs. Tressia Banhagel, 86, died Thursday at the Ionia Convalescent Home following
nearly three years illness. She was the widow of Edward Banhagel, who died a year ago.
Born in Germany in November 28,1868, she came to this country when three years of
age with her parents, Frances and Frank Brose, when they settled on a farm in Odessa 
township.  Her earlier years were spent there and in Ionia city. For 28 years prior
to her recent illness she and her husband resided in Detroit.

Surviving are three sons, Raymond E and Lewis of Detroit and George R. of Ionia; a 
daughter, Mrs. Wilfred Begin of Detroit; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.               

Funeral services will be held Saturday at SS Peter and Paul church with interment in
Mt. Olivet cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at 7:45 Friday evening at the Boynton funeral home.
