The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, March 24, 1938
Theophel F. Banhagel of 330 Kensington road, East Lansing, died in St. 
Lawrence hospital early Thursday from injuries received in a fall.  Mr. 
Banhagel was formerly an Ionia residence and for the past 19 years was 
connected with the P.G. Chrisman Co., Lansing.

He is survived by his widow Anna, a son Thede C., four daughters, Mrs. Ruth 
Foster, Mrs. Helen Heinowski, and Misses Florence and Mildred Banhagel at 
home, 3 brothers, Benjamin and Robert of Ionia, and one living in Benton 
Harbor, and two sisters of Jackson.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the Church of the Resurrection 
in Lansing.
