Doris A. Bannerman, 80, of Portland died Sept. 4, 1993.  Mrs. Bannerman was 
born Aug. 3, 1913, in Grand Ledge.  She was a life-time area resident and 
member of Lansing Community Baptist Church and Winchester Fire Improvement 
Association.

Surviving are her sons, Alfred of Portland, Thomas of Okemos, and Edward of 
Holland; daughters, Belle Linton of Grand Ledge and Agnes Hill of Knoxville, 
Tenn.; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sept. 7, at Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with 
Rev. Timothy Jackson officiating.  Interment followed at Strong Cemetery in 
Barryton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church of Lansing.
