Ionia County News, 20 May 1943

Judson D. Banning, 68, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at his farm home near
Muir, of a heart attack.  He was born October 8, 1874, near Muir, the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Nelson Banning.

He is survived by his wife, the former Agnes Huston; a daughter, Mrs. Laurel
McKown; one grandson, De Los McKown.

Funeral services were held at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon, from his late
home.  Rev. C.A. Brady officiated and burial was in Muir cemetery.
