Barber, in Lansing, following a stroke of paralysis suffered several days previous. The remains were brought to Portland and funeral services held this afternoon at the home of her son, Melbern, in charge of Rev. James C. Stewart. Burial was made in the Danby cemetery. Mrs. Barber was born near Coldwater, Mich., and came to Portland with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Margin Miller, when a young girl. She was later married to Henry Barber who, for some time, has been residing at the I.O.O.F. home in Ohio. For the past four years, Mrs. Barber had been living with her son in Lansing. Five children survive, Don and Melbern, of Portland; Clay, George and Mrs. D. Knapp, of Lansing.
