Funeral services were held Sunday, and the remains brought to Portland for burial. Mrs. Barber’s maiden name was Addie Shuart, and she came to the former Shuart farm just east of Portland, at the age of three weeks. There she resided until marrying Mr. Barber, over 50 years ago. The couple settled on a farm north of Portland, later locating at Mulliken. Mr. Barber died three years ago. Mrs. Bertha Shuart, of Portland, is a sister-in-law of Mrs. Barber. There are no brothers or sisters surviving, or any children.
