Mr. Barber had resided in a trailer parked on South Canal street for some time, and in recent years had been employed at intervals by the village street department. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Barber, and was born in Portland. Funeral services were held at Bandfield chapel on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, and burial was in Danby cemetery. Rev. B. I. Davies officiated, and village employees were bearers. Surviving are three brothers, Clayton, Bath; George, of Lansing, and Melbern (Jake) of Portland, and one sister, Mrs. Ada Knapp, of Portland.
