Ionia Daily Standard, 24 Mar 1902

The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Barber was buried this afternoon,
and the sympathy of their friends is with them in their loss.  The babe was with
them just long enough to show how sweet and beautiful a thing is the unfolding
of a human life, and was then transplanted to the heavenly gardens, there to
bloom forever under the loving care of the great gardener.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
