Lula Belle (Kilts) Barbour, 93, of Matherton, died Fri., April 6, 2001, at the
Heartland Health Care Center in Ionia.  She was born Dec. 23, 1907, in
Matherton, to George and Jennie (Dick) Kilts.  She married Maurice Barbour.  She
was a member of the Shiloh Community Church.  She retired from the Carson City
Hospital in 1973.

She is survived by three daughters, Wilma (Jack) Bennis of Naples, Fla., Shirley
DeVane of Tampa, Fla., and Beverly (Starr) Miller of Carson City; one son,
Wallace (Shirley) Barbour of Lake Odessa; 10 grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in
death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Lux and Schnepp
Funeral Home in Carson City with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church
officiating.  Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Lux and Schnepp
Funeral Home in Carson City.  Interment will be in East Plains Cemetery,
Matherton.  Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Community Church.
