Friends of Miss Mary Barclay, former resident of this city for many years, will 
regret to learn of her death which occurred at the home of a niece, Mrs. Milan 
Stephens, at Ovid, where Miss Barclay had made her home for the past few 
years.  Miss Barclay was 83 years of age at the time of her passing.  

The body was brought to this city Monday evening and taken to the Fitzjohn 
Funeral Home where funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 
2:30, with Rev. William Blanding of Ovid, a former pastor of the local 
Methodist church, of which Miss Barclay was a member, officiating and burial 
will be in the old Belding cemetery.
