Mrs. Barclay, who was 75 years of age, was born February 25, 1866, on a farm about one and one-half miles east of the farm on which she died. Mrs. Barclay was married Nov. 22, 1896. There were no children. She is survived by Mr. Barclay and two sisters, Mrs. Ora Carlson of Fenwick and Mrs. George Barclay of Vickeryville; two brothers, Perry Schouten, who lived at the Barclay home, and Jay of Cass county, and several nephews and nieces. The funeral was held at the Brown funeral home in Greenville on the following Friday with Rev. Beacock officiating. Interment was in Otisco cemetery. Mrs. Barclay was a sister of the late J.K.
