Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Ruth Barclay, 88, of Ionia, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002 at Sparrow Hospital in 
Lansing.

Ruth is survived by her beloved children: Leonard (JoAnn) of Holt; Vernon 
(Irene) of Ionia; Willard (Jill) of Holland; David (Rozanna) of Perry; Dwight 
(Gloria) of Lowell; and Philip (Val) of Palo; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer on Sept. 10, 1993; and a 
great-grandson, Brandon.

Funeral services will be held Monday at the Lake Funeral Home, 3521 S. State 
Rd., Ionia.  Visitation is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.  
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ionia.  

Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Lyons Baptist Church.
