The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 17, 1951
James Barclay, 87, died suddenly Saturday afternoon, December 15, in a Saranac 
place of business.  Coroner Wallace Jackson of Ionia who was summoned 
attributed death to natural causes.  Barclay had been making his home with Mr. 
and Mrs. Jay Schutt of Saranac.  Sole survivors are nieces and nephews.  
Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Morris funeral home.  The 
Rev. Glen McCarty will officiate.  Interment will be in Otisco cemetery.
