HIRAM BARKDULL Anna Mararet Valentine, youngest daughter of Archibald and Margaret Valentine, was born March 25, 1858, in Allen county, near Lima, O., and passed away at 11:30 o'clock, September 10, 1935. She moved to Michigan with her parents when a child. She married to Hiram Barkdull, Novembere 17, 1878. To this union were born three sons, George, Omar and Elmer. During the winter of 1878 shortly after the marriage she and her husband were converted to the Christian faith at a large revival at the old West Odessa church and remained in the faith, and membership of the same denomination until the present time. She was a loving wife and mother, kind friend and neighbor until the last. She leaves to mourn her departure besides her husband; three sons, George N. of Lake Odessa, Omar C. of Traverse City and Elmer A. at them; two grandchildren, Mrs. Bernice Everett of Lake Odessa, Owen Barkdull of Lansing; three great grandchildren, Bily, Glenn and Roger Everett; one brother, Wilbert N. Valentine of Woodland, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. **** CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy during the illness and death of our wife and mother, also Rev.
