James Brown officiating. Burial was made in the Kelfer cemetery, local Masons having charge of the ceremony at the grave. Mr. Barker, whose death took place Thursday, had suffered from tuberculosis of the throat for the past two years. His boyhood was spent in the vicinity of Collins, until he purchased the Cowman farm a mile west of town some sixteen years ago. He married Miss Emaline Sullivan, a Hubbardston girl. Two sons were born to them, Billie and Bobbie aged 11 and 9 years. Mrs. Barker died five years ago. Beside his sons he is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Wm. Barker at whose home he died.
