Lake Odessa Wave Times  Fri. April 18, 1924

RESIDENT OF THIS VICINITY 50 YEARS, PASSES

 Mrs.John Barker who has resided in Lake Odessa for the past five or six years 
but who lived in Campbell township for upwards of fifty years, died a their home 
Sunday afternoon. The funeral was held Tuesday forenoon at the home. 
Rev.Spafford preached and Mrs.Spafford and Mrs.Homer Bartlett sang. Burial was 
at Lakeside cemetery. She leaves on daughter, Mrs.S.R. Braden of this place and 
three stepsons, Norman, George and Charles Barker, beside her husband, John 
Barker.

mrs. Barker has been a patient sufferer for many weeks past.
